Who we are
Bramlett Beef Cattle is built on a commitment to raising high-quality cattle with integrity, intention, and hands-on care. Our program focuses on two key goals: producing competitive, show-quality cattle for the stock show industry, and providing locally raised beef that families can trust.
Our cattle are pasture-raised from start to finish, with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and plenty of space to roam. We believe cattle should live the way nature intended—on grass, in fresh air, and with calm, consistent handling that keeps them comfortable and healthy. The result is beef that is rich in flavor, clean, and responsibly raised—available by the cut, or in bulk by the half or quarter.
In the show barn, we take pride in building true partnerships with our animals. Time spent halter breaking, grooming, walking, clipping, and preparing for the ring creates a bond that goes beyond competition. Our show cattle are handled with respect, patience, and care, and we’re proud to help develop animals that not only look exceptional in the ring, but are confident, gentle, and well-mannered.
At Bramlett Beef Cattle, quality begins with how we raise and care for our herd—every day, from pasture to show ring to the table.
FAQs
Do you offer beef by the cut, or only bulk orders?
We offer both. You can purchase individual cuts (steaks, roasts, ground beef, etc.), or you can reserve a quarter, half, or whole beef for larger savings.
What is the difference between buying a quarter, half, or whole?
Purchasing in bulk allows you to receive a variety of cuts at a better price per pound. A quarter is around 90–130 lbs of packaged meat on average, depending on the animal. Halves and wholes offer the most customization in cuts.
How do I reserve a beef?
We require a deposit to hold your quarter, half, or whole. Once the deposit is placed, we schedule processing and help guide you through your cut instructions.
How long does the process take?
Once your steer goes to processing, it typically takes 2–3 weeks for dry aging, cutting, and packing. We will contact you as soon as your order is ready.
How much freezer space do I need?
As a general guide:
A quarter beef requires about 3–5 cubic feet of freezer space
A half beef requires about 7–10 cubic feet
A whole beef requires about 14–18 cubic feet
Is your beef grass-fed or grain-finished?
Our cattle are pasture-raised from start to finish for health and natural growth. They are then grain-finished to enhance marbling, flavor, and tenderness.
